PUBLIC STRATEGY | STAKEHOLDER AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT | LOCAL GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
WHAT WE DO
From project planning through implementation, we work alongside legal, financial, engineering, and executive teams to evaluate political and regulatory challenges, engage stakeholders, and create pathways for successful outcomes.
Sawin Group helps organizations navigate complex political, regulatory, and community landscapes where infrastructure, natural resources, and public policy intersect—with expertise at the urban-rural policy nexus.
We partner with companies, PE boards and executives, nonprofits, and public entities to develop public strategies that reduce risk, build coalitions, and advance critical projects. To date, Sawin Group strategies have supported:
- Developed and executed public strategies supporting over $1B in infrastructure development and resource acquisition
- Led “inside-the-building” legislative efforts resulting in governor-signed legislation
- Achieved a 100% approval rate across county, municipal, and regulatory jurisdictions
- Recognized expert in Texas state and local policy and politics, including land use and water development at the urban-rural intersection
- Defended the “fence line” of the largest privately held, contiguous tract of land in a high-growth region of Texas
If it is complex, make it simple. Design like an engineer. Think like an attorney. Always talk like a local.
